ONSEN

This is our ONSEN Matcha Bowl

The word ONSEN (温泉) can be translated in english to Japanese hot spring or hot water bath.

Just like an onsen this bowl has a aquamarine color, calming exterior and smooth touch.

The Matcha Bowl was made in Seto city by a Japanese pottery Master.

The master has been producing pottery for over 50 years and switched proffessions around his 40’s after finding his passion for ceramics.

The bowl is made in an ‘Han Tsutsu-Gata’ style which characterizes the straight body and slim lip on the top of the bowl.
