Momiji is the Japanese name for a Maple tree leaf.
This small Matcha Bowl which displays purple maple leaves on a languid lavender base and is made with a “Shino Ware” style.
The style was created in Mino prefecture, which is now known in Japan as Gifu prefecture.The style is characterized by it’s often light white base and texture of small holes.
